I have so many resource and try to put in one place about how to reset Canon iP1000 Waste Ink Full problem and this some of the tips:

Tips 1

I try to reset with manual service mode :

• Turn off the printer, and disconnect the printer cable
• Press and hold the POWER button, turn on the printer
• The Indicator (LED) should be green
• Press and release the RESUME button, the Indicator (LED) should be orange
• Press and release the RESUME button again, the Indicator (LED) should be green
• Release both button

Tips 2

• Disconnect printer from AC power
• Press and HOLD the POWER button, and connect printer to AC power
• release the the POWER button
• Press the POWER button again
