For all those people that could not get the "Waste Ink Reset" to work, it was because you didn't do it right. It sounds complicated but it is actually very simple. You can do it with one hand using your middle finger and you thumb, that is if you know how to . how to use the said program?i alrady downloaded it, but everytime i click any command, ders an error code of 006.. cna any one here knows how to use it?send me please @ richard_ski3@yahoo.com..tnxx a lot guys.

I purchased a "Service Mnual", which contains some Canon service info and parts list. I do recall that it includes instructions on how to reset the ink messge when the waste ink absorber pad is alleged to be full. What I found is that the waste ink sponge is mostly white, except for the area that is far left (which is probably where the ink gets emptied). In any case, my problem wasn't waste ink tank, as resetting the counter didn't fix the problem.

but still it doest work. my printer monitor show code 0 i click resume or start button 4 times then i click the power again but it return to the problem. i make it move than ten times.. huhuhu.. is there a driver like epson to reset

i had waste full error on canon i320, i called canon tech support. they said to throw it out there was no servicing this part. no code reset etc. i almost threw it out but it has been a good printer for over 5 years. i found this fix on

This is really frustrating. Am I doing something wrong in following the reset procedure? The flash code (seven yellow, followed by a long green) indicates the waste ink tank is full (or maybe not -see below).
