How To Remove BIOS Password on Satellite A130 / A135 ST1313

There are some problem on Toshiba Notebook, some of them is BIOS Password. I will show you about Satellite A130 / A135 (PSAD6x): BIOS Password removal tutorial

Follow these steps to remove / disable the BIOS (CMOS) Password on the Satellite A130 / A135 (PSAD6x ) models:

  1. Turn the computer OFF, if it’s on.
  2. Disconnect the AC adapter, and remove the battery.
  3. On the bottom of the computer, remove the memory cover screw, the memory cover, and the memory module(s)

  4. With the computer oriented as in the photo above, carefully peel back the clear Mylar film. Pull this film to the side enough to expose the JOPEN1 solder pads). It may be convenient to tape the film to the computer’s case. Do not remove the film completely, because it may be impossible to re-attach it correctly.

  5. Short the JOPEN1 solder pads on the system board for 30 seconds. Needle-nose pliers or a flat-blade screwdriver works well to short the jumper.
  6. Re-position the Mylar film over the system board.
  7. Reinstall the memory module(s), and re-attach the memory cover.
  8. Re-insert the battery.
  9. Restart the computer to verify that the password prompt no longer appears. If it does still appear, then repeat this procedure, starting with step 1.
