Royal Plush Clothing was founded in 2005 by husband and wife team, Steve and Michelle Waller. Michelle is the head designer and living inspiration for the brand. Based in Los Angeles, California, Royal Plush specializes in women’s casual contemporary lifestyle clothing and accessories. Ladies contemporary casual lifestyle brand joins New York based
Simply Chic Showroom as its’ newest brand de force.

(Los Angeles, CA) – April 27, 2007 – ROYAL PLUSH CLOTHING, the forerunner of intricately embellished ladies casual lifestyle clothing, announced today its’ partnership with Simply Chic Showroom in New York to represent its high end apparel and accessory collections in the Eastern United States.

“We are extremely proud to announce this partnership with Simply Chic”, says Royal Plush President Steve Waller. “We have watched them build very successful brands like Juicy Couture and Twisted Heart and are proud to be a part of the next evolution of their highly respected showroom.”

The essence of the line exists within the multi-dimensional details and artistic embellishments found in each of their garments. The fabrics, ranging from light weight fleece to fine cashmere, are produced in a variety of silhouettes, including knit track suits, sweaters and tunics as well as skirts, shorts, down jackets and a handful of signature bodies. Each season is complemented by a full line of custom accessories, highlighted by their collection of luxury leather handbags.

“I wanted something to wear that no one else was offering,” says Michelle Waller, creator and head designer of Royal Plush. “I wanted to feel sexy, sophisticated and comfortable all at the same time. That’s what we’re making at Royal Plush. ”

Simply Chic’s founder Lisa Shaller-Goldberg will use her leadership teams’ past experience in this category to take the brand to the next level. “Royal Plush has all of the ingredients we need to be successful. It’s a fun, sexy line that fits in perfectly with our current portfolio of brands.”

The Royal Plush 2007 Holiday Collection will make its Simply Chic debut May 7, 2007 at Intermezzo Pier 94, booth #2213 in NYC. Current collections are available at select specialty stores across the United States, Europe, Asia and South America.
