Thank You for providing tips on how to fix the problem. I am one of the million user of this printer and it feels bad that it came to the point wherein this kind of error suddenly appears consediring that I myself recommend Canon products cause aside from its quality, it is user friendly and easy to use. Others might encounter the same, but this tips could solve the burden. Thanks…
Hello!
How can I empty this “waste ink tank” by myself without taking the printer to service? Thanks!
I opened the printer and cleaned the waste tank absorber with water then sun dried, the absorber dried out fine. But still same message appeared “waste tank absorber full”. I tried tip 2 above and it reset the printer, tnx.
You are welcome Felbert ;)
