it was supposed to be out the xecond quarter of this year , but thats come and gone , after a bunch bugging on the blog site they finally said a beta will be avaliable in the coming months so dont get your hopes up ppl they , i think they have no idea themselves when it will be out hell they have job postings on the blog for vista messenger designers so dont kid yourself it ll be awhile

enough is enough… vista was released in january of 2007 and as of today yahoo has still not released the new version for vista.
It’s not like they did not know it was comming.
so here we sit with the worlds most advance opperating system and we cant even do a simple thing like do a voice chat with other members. true we can still do single calls but no chats. and all kinds of other nagging lil issues.
MSN has just released its new messenger and lo and behold it has a box for group chats along with lots of the other features that Yahoo claims they are developing.
Its easy to see why the yahoo stock price keeps dropping when they wont commit the resorces to keep things current

I want the Vista version of Messenger myself, but sitting here bitching in this blog is not going to get Yahoo to release it any sooner than it intends to.
As for the poster that stated Vista has only been out since January 2007, Vista has been in the making for well over 4 years, Yahoo has claimed to have had this version in “development” for over two of them years. So it’s not like they just found out about it.
You people want something to complain about? Trying purchasing a brand new $500 sound card from Creative Labs, and it doesn’t even work on a brand new platform! Go read their posts!
People bitching about a free program that they’re probably running a cracked version of Vista. Imagine that!
